David Olatukunbo Alaba professionally known as David Alaba is an Austrian professional football player who plays for the Spanish club Real Madrid and the Austria national team as a defender or midfielder. He started playing football for the local youth team of SV Aspern in Aspern, in the 22nd district, Donaustadt in 2001. In 2002, at the age of 10, he joined the youth team of FK Austria Wien where he played five times as a reserve team. In summer 2008, he joined the youth team of Bayern Munich where he played for the U17 and U19 teams before being promoted to the reserve team for the 2009-10 season. He has made over 400 appearances for Bayern Munich since 2010, winning 26 honors including nine Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2013 and 2020.
