American stock car racing driver Regan Smith is currently driving in the Nationwide Series for JR Motorsports’ No. 7 Chevrolet Camaro. He is also on a limited racing schedule for Phoenix Racing’s No. 51Chevrolet SS in Sprint Cup Series.
Regan Smith was born on September 23, 1983 in Cato, New York, USA. Debuting at age four, he later won numerous state and regional championships.
In 1996, he was named WKA Grand National champion, and a year later, he became the WKA Manufacturer’s Cup champion. In 1998, he was hailed as the Canadian Grand National Karting championship, and by 1999, he won the Allison Legacy Series championship. He was also the Southern 500 winner in 2011.
